“Eliminate Missouri’s certificate of need process. Open the market for other hospitals systems to open hospitals and clinics throughout the state.”
Q2 The Missouri Department of Agriculture has reported that Agriculture and related industries have contributed 93.7 billion dollars in economic output and 456,618 jobs to Missouri in 2021. Would you continue to develop and support agtech business in Missouri as well as the education and scientific training for Missourians to contribute to this industry? Why or why not?
“I stand behind Missouri Farmers. And we’ll fight to eliminate bureaucratic and government restraints on agriculture. Ending unnecessary subsidies in taxes up on agriculture and education. I support economic growth by eliminating government implemented economic restraints for starting new bStateinesses which include education and scientific training.”
Q3 America has a growing AI industry, supporting cutting-edge innovation but raising issues of resource use, privacy, and economics. In your opinion, what are the costs and benefits of new data center construction in Missouri and how would your policies accomplish a balance between them?
“I think that data center should be treated like any other company. I don’t support government regulations of ethical practices of such companies. Such ethical consideration should be controlled by the free market. Unless such practices directly affect individual life liberty or property.”
Q4 If elected, in what capacities would you refer to scientists when you are deciding how to vote on a policy?
“Scientists are essential job in a free market society. Promoting innovations and new technologies. Restricting the practices of operation and innovation through government and bureaucratic policies is not conducive to a free market society. Government should support and promote the pursuit of science and technology.”
Q5 What are your opinions on the current state of science literacy, and how could K-12 education standards be adapted to improve the public understanding of and relationship building in science?
“Education is a very important part of a free society. I support County and community based education systems, Independent School districts. Science Education is jStatet as important as arithmetic or any other subjects of Education. And should be prioritized like all areas of Education.”
