IndependentQ1 What policies, if any, do you support or envision in managing land-based resources in New Hampshire (i.e. water, open-space preserves, parks)?
“NH has already had its share of contaminants entering our water system and harming our ecosystem. We must do a better job of protecting the natural resources we need for future generations. We cannot allow corporate “progress” to undermine the health of our citizens. We cannot allow corporations to police themselves and treat small fines as simply the cost of doing business.”
KEYWORDS: water, accountability, future generations
Q2 What policies and programs, if any, do you plan to implement regarding vaccines in the state of New Hampshire or throughout the US? What role, if any, does collaboration between scientists and policymakers have in this process?
“Vaccine policy has become too political, and that is a problem. We need to follow the data, not politics, fear, or feelings…. Scientists need the independence to study vaccine safety and effectiveness without political interference. There is a line between protecting public health and government overreach. I will support a process that is transparent, scientifically independent, and open to scrutiny. Public health decisions should be based on sound science, not political and pharma agendas.”
KEYWORDS: independence, transparency, data-driven
Q3 New Hampshire is facing growing flood risk, reduced snowpack, and rising sea levels. What policies, if any, do you support in mitigating how natural disasters are affecting industries and life in New Hampshire?
“NH has been a literal wasteland of neglect for decades. We cannot allow further deterioration to take place and we need to protect our natural resources. We need a strong mix of energy solutions. I am also deeply concerned about our deteriorating infrastructure with our dams and bridges.”
KEYWORDS: infrastructure, protection, energy mix
Q4 Advances in artificial intelligence and expansion of data centers are expected to affect industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, and transportation across the country. What policies, if any, do you plan to implement to address these potential impacts in New Hampshire?
“I wrote about this in May and nothing has changed. https://www.concordmonitor.com/2026/05/16/my-turn-data-centers-community-legislation/ We must protect our communities while embracing the future. Communities must have the final say.”
KEYWORDS: local control, corporate responsibility, protect natural resources
Q5 Electricity demand is increasing due to manufacturing, electrification, and data infrastructure. What role, if any, do you believe developing alternative energy sources should contribute to the country’s future energy mix? What plans, if any, do you have to develop these alternative energy sources in New Hampshire, and how might they affect job opportunities in the state (if at all)?
“We must build more infrastructure and support an energy mix that is not exposed to global events. Everything should be on the table and balanced. That includes renewables, traditional and nuclear.”
